HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2
The creepy/awkward, delighted/demented hug that Voldemort gives Draco as Draco walks across the courtyard to his parents and the Death Eaters was completely improvised by Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort). A lot of fans hate the hug, but, personally, I love it. I find it awesome because it means that Fiennes knew Voldemort so well that he could improvise a gesture that was so perfectly in character. It's a moment of ecstasy for Voldemort, but since he has never known love he has probably never hugged anyone before, so of course it's awkward.

Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the boy who plays 11-year-old Voldemort in the flashback to the orphanage, is Ralph Fiennes' (Voldemort) nephew. I'm sure it was a bit of nepotism that got him the audition, but there is no denying that he was perfect for the role.
